👋 Welcome to Lesson 15! The Heartbeat of Quranic Action

Aapne pichhle sabhi sabaq mein Arabic ke alag alag building blocks seekhe:

Ab waqt aa gaya hai in sabhi tukdon ko mila kar Quran ke complete dynamic sentences ko padhne aur samajhne ka! Quran Majeed ka 60% se zyada hissa Jumla Fi'liyyah (جملہ فعلیہ) par mushtamil hai.

🎯 What you will master in this lesson:

  1. The Core Anatomy: The 3 essential parts of a Verbal Sentence (فِعْل + فَاعِل + مَفْعُول بِهِ).
  2. The Golden I'rab Secret: How Arab grammarians know who did what purely through Harakaat (Pesh vs Zabar).
  3. The Hidden Pronoun Mystery (الضَّمِير المُسْتَتِر): Why a single word like خَلَقَ is ALREADY a complete sentence!
  4. The Quranic Singular-Verb Rule: Why verbs remain singular even when the subject is plural!
  5. Real Quranic Verse Breakdowns: Ayat-ul-Kursi, Surah Al-Baqarah, Surah Al-Fil, and Surah Yusuf.

1️⃣ The 3 Pillars of Jumla Fi'liyyah (جملہ فعلیہ کے تین ارکان)

Jumla Fi'liyyah woh sentence hota hai jo Fi'l (Action / Verb) se shuru hota hai. Iske 3 bunyadi hisse hote hain:

The Master Equation of Quranic Verbal Sentences:
فِعْل + فَاعِل (مَرْفُوع) + مَفْعُول بِهِ (مَنْصُوب)
Verb (Action) + Fa'il (Subject / Doer: Marfoo' ـُ / ـٌ) + Maf'ul Bihi (Object / Receiver: Mansoob ـَ / ـً)
1. الفِعْل (The Action)

The Verb

The trigger that starts the sentence. Can be Past (ماضی), Present/Future (مضارع), or Command (امر).

خَلَقَ / يَنْصُرُ / اضْرِبْ
وہ کام یا عمل جس سے جملے کا آغاز ہو۔
2. الفَاعِل (The Doer / Subject)

The Subject (Marfoo')

The person or entity performing the action. MUST ALWAYS BE MARFOO' (ends with Dhammah / Pesh ـُ / ـٌ)!

اللّٰهُ / نُوحٌ / الْمُؤْمِنُونَ
کام کرنے والا (فاعل) ہمیشہ مرفوع (پیش والا) ہوتا ہے۔
3. المَفْعُول بِهِ (The Object)

The Object (Mansoob)

The receiver upon whom the action falls. MUST ALWAYS BE MANSOOB (ends with Fathah / Zabar ـَ / ـً)!

السَّمَاوَاتِ / الإِنْسَانَ / كِتَابًا
جس پر کام واقع ہو (مفعول) ہمیشہ منصوب (زبر والا) ہوتا ہے۔

2️⃣ The Golden I'rab Secret: Word Order vs Case Endings

English aur Urdu mein sentence ka matlab aksar Word Order par depend karta hai:

💡 The Superpower of Arabic I'rab (اعراب کا کمال):

Arabic mein word order badal sakta hai, lekin Harakaat (I'rab) hamesha batati hain ke kaun kisko action kar raha hai!

نَصَرَ زَيْدٌ عَمْرًا = عَمْرًا نَصَرَ زَيْدٌ = نَصَرَ عَمْرًا زَيْدٌ

In teeno sentences ka ek hi matlab hai: "Zaid ne Amr ki madad ki" (Zaid helped Amr). Kyunki زَيْدٌ par Pesh (Dammah) hai toh woh hamesha Fa'il (Doer) hi rahega, chahe woh aage aaye ya peeche! Aur عَمْرًا par Zabar (Fathah) hai toh woh hamesha Maf'ul (Object) hi rahega!

📖 The Most Famous Example in the Quran (Surah Fatir 35:28):

إِنَّمَا يَخْشَى اللَّهَ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ الْعُلَمَاءُ
اللَّهَ = Mansoob (ـَ) → Maf'ul (The Revering One is Allah) الْعُلَمَاءُ = Marfoo' (ـُ) → Fa'il (The Doers: Scholars who fear Allah)

Translation: "Among His servants, only those who possess knowledge (Scholars) truly fear Allah."

اگر کوئی شخص صرف ترتیب (Order) دیکھتا تو غلط سمجھ بیٹھتا، لیکن چونکہ «الْعُلَمَاءُ» پر پیش ہے اس لیے وہی فاعل (ڈرنے والے) ہیں، اور «اللَّهَ» پر زبر ہے اس لیے وہ مفعول (جس کی عظمت کا خوف دل میں ہے) ہے۔

3️⃣ The 2 Types of Fa'il: Visible Noun vs Hidden Pronoun

Fa'il (Subject) do tarah se aa sakta hai:

Type A: Zahir Noun (فَاعِل ظَاهِر — Visible Outward Noun)

Jab verb ke baad explicit Marfoo' noun (پیش والا اسم) maujood ho:

خَلَقَ اللّٰهُ الإِنْسَانَ
• خَلَقَ = Verb (Past: Created)
• اللّٰهُ = Fa'il Zahir (Marfoo' with Pesh)
• الإِنْسَانَ = Maf'ul Bihi (Mansoob with Zabar)
"اللہ نے انسان کو پیدا کیا" (Allah created mankind).
Type B: Mustatir Pronoun (فَاعِل ضَمِير مُسْتَتِر — Hidden Pronoun)

Jab verb ke baad koi explicit Marfoo' noun na ho, toh Pronoun verb ke andar chhupa hota hai:

خَلَقَ الإِنْسَانَ
• خَلَقَ = Verb (Created) + Hidden "هُوَ" (He) inside it!
• الإِنْسَانَ = Maf'ul Bihi (Mansoob with Zabar)
"اس نے انسان کو پیدا کیا" (He created mankind).

⚡ Every Arabic Verb is Already a Sentence!

English mein aap sirf "Created" nahi bol sakte (it's an incomplete fragment). Lekin Arabic mein خَلَقَ apne aap mein ek mukammal Jumla Fi'liyyah hai kyunki iske andar "هُوَ" (He) ka fa'il pehle se locked hai! Isi tarah عَبَدْتُمْ = "You all worshipped" (فعل + فاعل dono ek hi lafz mein!).

4️⃣ The Quranic Plural-Subject Law (واحد فعل اور جمع فاعل کا قاعدہ)

Yeh Arabic grammar ka ek aisa rule hai jo aksar beginners ko confuse karta hai, lekin Quran Majeed mein har safhe par aata hai:

📜 The Universal Rule:

Jab Fa'il (Subject) zahir noun ho, toh shuru ka Fi'l (Verb) HAMESHA SINGULAR (واحد) rehta hai, chahe Subject plural (جمع) hi kyun na ho!

✅ Correct Arabic Syntax:
قَالَ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ
Singular Verb (قَالَ) + Plural Subject (الْمُؤْمِنُونَ)
❌ Double Plural Error:
قَالُوا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ
Incorrect because قَالُوا already has "و" (they) + external subject!
اگر فاعل باہر نام کی صورت میں ظاہر ہو (جیسے المومنون یا الناس)، تو شروع کا فعل ہمیشہ واحد رہے گا۔
